Dr. Chandra Sekhar Sirka is the Group Editor Medical Sciences at Manuscriptedit.com (a service interface of Reseapro Scientific Services). He has more than 6 years of experience in medical writing, proof reading, and editing scientific and research papers in the field of Medical sciences. Dr. Sirka has also taught in many Medical Colleges of India.

Before joining Manuscriptedit, Dr. Sirka was an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Dermatology & Venereology in SCB Medical College, Cuttack. He has more than 11 years of research experience and has 24 national & international publications in peer-reviewed journals.

He has contributed in books on Sexual Transmitted Diseases and AIDS. He has worked as scientific committee member in the state conference (Cuticon 2005, 2008, 2009) and has conducted many workshops and seminars for the postgraduates and dermatologists of Orissa. He received best paper presentation award in Leprosy and Dermatology for four consecutive years, from 2003-06. Currently, he serves as a peer reviewer in Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy, and as a member of the Editorial advisory committee to Indian Clinical Updates Dermatology by Wiley India Pvt. Ltd.

After obtaining MBBS degree, he completed his Masters Degree in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy. He did his Senior Residency from JIPMER, India. Initially, he was a Senior Resident & Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology & Venereology in AIIMS, New Delhi, India. He established the Dermato surgery unit and carried out cosmetic treatments, like Chemical peeling, Vitiligo surgery, Nail surgery, and Hair restoration surgery at ASCOMS and Hospital, Jammu.
